The Cuomo campaign threw up an AI generated political ad attacking his political opponent Zohran Mamdani,
And it's both hilarious and frightening.
Take a look:
According to the New York Post, the usual motley crew of leftists showed up to scream "racism," despite the fact that the video is mostly a mix of The Sopranos and inebriated Golden Girls.
Of course, the campaign quickly kowtowed to the vitriol and pulled the video.
Cuomo spokesperson Rich Azzopardi denied the video was an ad in a statement swiping back at the attacks.
βThe video was a draft proposal that was neither finished nor approved, did not go through the normal legal process, and was inadvertently posted by a junior staffer β which is why it was taken down five minutes later,' he said.
But the real question is: was the video accurate?
While Mamdani has been pretty coy when talking about his "community policing plans," he did apparently sign on to the Democrat Socialists' "Agenda for Decarceration" in 2020, which includes the following:
The full elimination of cash bail, taking the state's disastrous bail reform even further.
Outright decriminalization of drug possession and prostitution.
Eliminating mandatory minimum sentences.
Retroactively lowering all maximum sentences.
Fighting construction of the borough-based jails meant to replace the soon-to-be-closed Rikers Island, as a means of reducing the prison population by a third.
It sure sounds like the junior staffer hit the nail on the head in their video.
Maybe it's time to make him a senior staffer?
