Like you, I have absolutely no idea who this very popular singer "d4vid" is. But I can tell you a dead body was found inside a Tesla belonging to him at a Hollywood impound lot.

The singer (real name David Anthony Burke) has topped the top three of Billboard's alternative albums chart, which really shows how Billboard is irrelevant these days.

The car is registered in Texas, where this 20-year-old Burke character is from.

Burke became popular on TikTok and just released his debut album earlier in the year.

Here's the scoop on the dead body from ABC 7 Los Angeles:

Officers responded to the 1000 block of N. Mansfield Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded vehicle, according to LAPD.

Authorities said human remains were found in the front trunk of the Tesla, which is registered in Hempstead, Texas, to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.

Police said the impounded car had been at the property for a couple of days, and that the body had been placed inside a bag. There's no immediate information about the identity of the person found inside the Tesla.

Never a good look when a dead body is found inside your car.

Burke is set to play a show up in Minneapolis tonight, so if you're in the area you might wanna catch this one, as he might not be playing another show for a while?

One comment jumped out at me when I first saw this news on X:

That, apparently, is a promo photo for the guy. 😬
