Times are tough for everyone, even furry woodland creatures. This was proven by an incident in Virginia over the weekend, as a "very intoxicated" raccoon broke into a liquor store, trashed the place, and then passed out in the bathroom.
Maybe the guy just had a rough day!

The masked bandit was found snoozing in a booze-induced haze by the toilet Saturday morning after trashing the Ashland ABC Store, leaving behind a trail of broken liquor bottles, disheveled shelves, and toppled boxes, according to the Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter.
The fuzzy after-hours customer reportedly found his way into the store the way raccoons seemingly always find their way into mischievous incidents — by crashing through the ceiling.
'He fell through one of the ceiling tiles and went on a full-blown rampage, drinking everything.'
Photos from the shelter suggest the tipsy critter enjoyed a sampling of scotch and whiskey, including Jameson.
Maybe he was already too hammered to look for something more high-end to drink!
Jeffrey Parker, Animal Protection and Shelter Chief in Hanover County, had this to say:
You can't make this stuff up. It happens, and people just don't realize it, and I actually gave my officer a high-five. I was like, ‘Fantastic. I wish we had little handcuffs to put on him,' you know?
Animal control took the trashed trespasser into custody so he could sleep it off.
The animal was released back into the wild, "hopefully having learned that breaking and entering is not the answer."
