Did you know that shooting up a TV station is apparently not serious enough for Californian officials to keep you in jail?
64-year-old Anibal Hernandez Santana, a lawyer and former legislative director for the California Federation of Teachers, was arrested for shooting through the window of ABC 10 in Sacramento, reportedly as a response to Jimmy Kimmel being canned by ABC.
Santana is a leftwing activist who hates Donald Trump and mocked Charlie Kirk‘s assassination.
The FBI decided that California is stupid and re-arrested Santana for violating 47 USC 333, a law prohibiting interference with federally-licensed broadcast stations.
He is no longer eligible for bail.
More from KRCA:
He was first booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail around midnight on charges that include assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building and negligent discharge of a firearm. Bail was set at $200,000, jail records also showed. He posted bail on Saturday, police said.
Asked Saturday afternoon whether a weapon had been recovered during the arrest, a Sacramento police spokesperson said she did not have that detail at this time. Police said a possible motive remained under investigation.
IT'S A REAL MYSTERY!
