Shane Gillis hosted the ESPY sports awards last night on ESPN and it went exactly how I, as an anti-woke sports enjoyer, hoped it would.
Gillis did not hold back and delivered lines that would have gotten him canceled 5 years ago.
Right from the punch, he went after the WNBA.
And even when he poked fun at Trump, it was funny as heck:
But this clip was the greatest joke of the night:
When Caitlin Clark retires from the WNBA she's going to work at a Waffle House so she can continue doing what she loves most: Fist fighting black women.

Even our side took a jab last night, and it was totally hilarious.
It's nice to see comedy again!
But the reception was certainly mixed.
Gillis's hosting makes him only the second greatest ESPY's host of all time, because no one could unseat the late, great Norm MacDonald.
Shane even paid tribute to Norm in his monologue.
