"Maryland man"

The Trump admin is bringing Garcia back to the States ... to try him for human trafficking.

The U.S. Attorney General alleges that Garcia participated in at least 100 trips to smuggle people over nine years. In fact, a grand jury found it was his "full-time job."

Feel free to read the indictment:

You have to love how Axios can't help itself.

"Maryland dad..."

"Wrongly deported..."

A foreigner with suspected ties to a violent gang who was living in America illegally was sent back to his home country, and that's how the media framed it.

And it's not just Axios:

Dead bodies scattered from South America into the American heartland. Semi trucks full of people who boiled to death. Little girls raped extensively and repeatedly. Assassinations. I still get sick remembering the stories I've heard from Border Patrol agents.

This is the vast smuggling network that the United States Justice Department alleges Garcia took part in as his full-time job, in association with one of the most brutal gangs in human history.

But the media frames him as a "Maryland man" who was "wrongly deported."

Enemies of the people.
