End your week with the story of a wife who punched a cop because she thought her husband was drowning in the river (he was casually enjoying a meal after work)

I first saw this on Instagram and I thought that there was no way on earth it was real.

Ladies, I don't care how worried you are about your husband, don't do this.

Lady: This is my husband's location right now!

Officer: He's not in the water.

Lady: He was in the middle of the water! Okay, now he's moving ...

Does this lady not know that these location pings aren't accurate down to the square foot?

And then to freak out and hit the cop after the phone showed he wasn't in the water any more??

The bodycam footage was taken a year ago and has been circulating all summer, though it doesn't seem to have any news article to confirm what state it's from (if any of you do know where this happened, let us know).

Here's more context from this September 2024 incident. This lady was distraught and out of control.

The husband showing up at the end is just the icing on the cake.

She's in custody? ... What happened?

Total shock.

She ended up getting a suspended 60-day sentence, probation, and a $917 fine.

This poor husband is never going to be able to go to a restaurant without her again. 😂😭
