Earlier this month, a wild black bear broke in the Sequoia Park Zoo and wandered over to the captive bears to see how they were doing.
The zoo posted pictures of the bear visiting the ursine inmates:
Overall, he was a very polite visitor. He stayed on the boardwalk path, kept two feet on the ground and didn't try to climb over the railings!
That's better than some human visitors!
The perimeter fencing was unbroken and secure, so the zoo isn't sure exactly how it managed to break in, but they were able to coax the bear off the property.
