‘Jimmy Kimmel Live will be pre-empted indefinitely,' an ABC spokesperson said, declining to share any further details.
A representative for Kimmel did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Several local ABC affiliates had already declared that they would not be running Kimmel's late-night show after his comments about Charlie Kirk's suspected killer.
Those comments came on Monday night, when Kimmel suggested that the suspect, Tyler Robinson, is "MAGA," despite multiple officials confirming his leftwing ideology.
