You guys remember the infamous sandwich thrower arrested by the FBI for assaulting a federal officer?

Well, the federal government failed to get an indictment in that guy's case.

From CNBC:

Federal prosecutors failed to obtain a grand jury indictment against a former Department of Justice employee who allegedly hurled a Subway sandwich at a federal officer who President Donald Trump had deployed in Washington, D.C.

The U.S. attorney's office in D.C. has sought to charge the man, Sean Charles Dunn, with felony assault of an officer for the Aug. 10 sub-chucking incident.

But prosecutors could not convince a grand jury to indict him.

Also,

It's rare for a grand jury to decline to return an indictment. And it's rarer still in a high-profile case that the government has aggressively promoted in the media, as the DOJ did after Dunn's arrest.

Unless they try for another felony indictment, this could be lowered to a misdemeanor.

The sub-slinger, of course, has become a symbol of the swamp's resistance to Trump in the city.

And the left is out there mocking the failed indictment as if this sort of thing isn't a given in DC.

In fact, this is the second DC case this week in which Trump's DOJ has failed to get an indictment because a grand jury has refused to try arrests associated with his crackdown.

The question is, How can Trump maintain law and order among a populace determined not to have it?
