Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the art of the deal:
The socialist country is now giving America total access to their markets; meanwhile, the United States is able to place a 20% tariff on Vietnamese products.
The 40% tariff would be on "transshipping," which refers to products made in other countries and then shipped through Vietnam to avoid tariffs, a common Chinese practice.
(Are you surprised that China cheats?)
From CNBC:
The agreement was unveiled less than a week before a 90-day pause on many of Trump's so-called reciprocal tariffs was set to expire, sending U.S. duties on imports from dozens of countries soaring.
Under that protectionist trade scheme, Vietnamese imports to the U.S. were subject to a 46% blanket tariff.
Still not tired of winning!
