Welp, it looks like Providence, Rhode Island, is going full woke.
On Friday, the folks at city hall will host a "Palestinian flag raising."
No joke: U.S. officials are going to raise a flag over their state capital that represents a nation controlled almost entirely by an Islamic terror group.
The city noted that no American flags will be displaced, so at least there's that?
In a statement to Fox News, a Providence City Council spokesperson said,
Providence City Hall displays many different flags throughout the year to mark different occasions and honor the many ethnic and cultural backgrounds and traditions that make our city strong.
So I guess then next week they'll be flying the Israeli flag?
Mayor Brett Smiley, a Democrat, noted that it's not his office that is flying the flag, but the City Council, who operate separately from him.
We'll have to wait until Friday to see whether or not they invited any Hamas terrorists to the party...
