Texas man had to fly all the way to West Palm Beach to compete with Florida man this week.
Early Tuesday morning, 23-year-old Anthony Thomas Reyes was arrested for trespassing at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's Florida property, but he told the cops he had good reason to be there.
Reyes allegedly told law enforcement that he hopped over Mar-a-Lago's walls to speak to Trump about the "gospel" and then marry Kai Madison Trump, Donald Trump Jr.'s daughter, who turned 18 last month, according to an arrest report reviewed by multiple outlets.
They arrested this young man whose only crime was loving Jesus and Kai Trump!
And trespassing. I guess that's the actual crime if you want to be technical.
And, wild enough, this is not the man's first time breaking into Mar-a-Lago.
Reyes was previously arrested and accused of trespassing at Mar-a-Lago on New Year's Eve in 2024, according to the police report. Court records show that Reyes was booked at the Palm Beach County Jail. He plead not guilty. The bond was set at $50,000, and the judge ordered him not to have contact with the president or any of his family members.
Neither President Trump, Kai, nor anyone Secret Service protected was at Mar-a-Lago at the time of the attempted break in.
