How are both of these dogs descendants of wolves???
That's Pearl, the world's shortest living dog, and Reggie, the world's tallest living dog, and they met earlier this month for the first time.
And let me just tell you:
It. Was. Adorable.
Pearl, a 4-year-old chihuahua, stands 3.6 inches tall. Reggie, a 7-year-old Great Dane, stands at a whopping 3'4".
That's a 3-foot height difference!
Pearl - much easier to travel with - traveled from Florida to Idaho with her owner, Vanesa Semler, to visit Reggie and his owner, Sam Johnson Reiss.
Needless to say, they had a blast.
Both owners were not surprised by the friendliness of their dogs. Reggie is always careful around smaller dogs, and Pearl just kinda doesn't even realize she's so small.
For the record, Pearl is roughly the size of a dollar bill and fits inside Reggies food bowl.
She's also kind of a diva, picking her clothes out on the daily.
Reggie is just a "big baby" who likes to play and bark.
